Each day we walk about ten miles down river through a wilderness area that has been designated a national treasure for its biodiversity as well as its place in the historic American West. We pass many creeks, waterfalls, swimming holes, and forested areas each day. There are opportunities to explore historic cabins and museums along the trail.
You will hike to a designated lunch spot alongside the river each day, where you will have a nutritious meal prepared as well as fresh water to replenish your supply. In the event that you would prefer to float on a boat and take a break from the trail, your guide and boat will be available to you in the morning or after lunch.
Your gear is ready for you when you arrive at camp or at the lodge.
