Nate grew up in the Rogue Valley and is a third-generation river runner. For 15 years he has worked on the rivers of Oregon and has honed his skills to be able to offer multi-day trips on rivers throughout Oregon.

It is his passion and life commitment to offer amazing river adventures of the highest quality in the deepest of wilderness while practicing gratitude for our grand natural world.

Ryan Massey (AKA Ryno) has been in outdoor leadership and teaching since 2000. He was raised in New Orleans, has been around the world twice, to all seven continents, and lived in ten states, so he brings a wide variety of experience to the river. Ryan taught survival and primitive living skills while leading backpacking and canoe trips in Maine and Utah for many years. He has a degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Education, so he is always excited to teach new skills and remind us of the beauty in nature. Ryno and his wife live in Redmond, Oregon on a small 10-acre farm with their horses, goats, chickens, and dogs.
